Saleabration Ending Soon

I am not sure where January and February have gone? You only have a few more days (last day Feb 28) to get this adorable stamp set, Friendly Seagulls for FREE (with a $60 US order). It is a super cute set! I created a little beach scene with my seagulls today. I used the Country Woods DSP to create a dock and posts for my birds to rest on. I used masking paper to create the horizon line and ink blended the sky and water.
Don't miss out on the adorable set before it is gone forever. Order today!

Sunday Stamps #354

The color challenge over at Sunday Stamps just screams spring to me. And another watercolor practice day makes me so happy with these colors. I stamped the Mixed Florals twice and used a loose style with the color combo. I used a Water Painter and a few ink refills to color. I finished the card off with a Low Profile Dots, which I love because they will be easy to mail but still add a little bling.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a blessed day!

Faith Collection

The new Faith Collection Bundle is just beautiful for either Easter cards or all occasions. I used the colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge for my card today. Along with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and Everyday Arches Dies. I felt like the arch had a tomb feel to it so I will have to revisit that idea and see what I can come up with. Stay tuned. I added a few retired rhinestones for added bling. I think this makes a stunning Easter card.
Have a blessed day!

Hand Stamped Sentiments # 457

Welcome to a fun Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge. This is such a different color combo for me. I had so much fun playing with it and I hope you do too! I haven't used the Beach Day Stamps and Dies for a while and so I pulled them out for this fun scene that I created on the Everyday Arches Dies ( should be renamed every card arches- since I feel like I use them on every card, haha) For the background layer I used the So Swirly Embossing Folder for a little movement.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you will join us and play along!

Freshly Made Sketches #673

Freshly Made Sketches has a great sketch for this week and their designers are always so inspiring. I created with the Memorable Blooms Bundle for my card. I love not only the stamps but the dies. I do love to color and so this stamp set is great for that also.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Only a few weeks left to saleabrate so make sure you get your orders in so that you can pick a fun free item! Have a blessed day!

Yellow Peony

Doesn't this beautiful Peony look amazing colored in Daffodil Delight? And it goes so well with the Saleabration FREE Bloom Impressions DSP. I used the Everyday Arches for my Poised Peony. I colored with Stampin' Blends. The greeting is die cut with Unbounded Love Die. For the background layer I used Fern 3D Embossing Folder on Basic White Cardstock.

Memorable Blooms

Happy Monday! I have really been having fun with messy water coloring lately. For this card I was inspired again by Kelly Taylor. She makes water coloring look achievable. I have learned so much from her and her videos, mostly to just have fun. Thank you Kelly! I used the Memorable Blooms Stamps and Dies for this card. I started with Staz On Black Ink and created the background with stamping on Fluid Watercolor Paper. Then I did a combination of ink smooshing and after it had dried added a little more to each individual flower and leaf.
For the greeting I used Wanted To Say Dies on the Everyday Arches. I die cut one of the branches and one of the flower clusters to add as an accent. Finished it off with a few retired sequins that I had in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a blessed day!

Inspired by Debbie Hughes

My card today was inspired by Debbie Hughes Lime Doodle Design. I say that very loosely because her talent I can't even begin to compare. If you had not had a chance to check out her blog or her videos you must! I love everything she creates!  I used the Poised Peony Stamps for my CASED card. I did try her style of "loose puddles" and I think I will have to keep practicing. I had so much fun trying this however I may have gotten a little heavy handed. I used the Linked Together Masks for the background along with splatter and ink blending for a rustic look. I also used Spotlight on Nature Dies and a few Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Thank you to Debbie for all her inspiration and sharing her talent with all of us!

No LIne Watercoloring

My first try at no line water coloring. I sure do have a lot to learn! I had so much fun and it was very relaxing. I think the Mixed Florals Stamp Set is great for this technique. Large florals! I really tried to show shadows to try and get the dimension that I wanted. I stamped with Smoky Slate Ink on Fluid Watercolor Paper and then used Water Painter and Ink refills to color. I am really excited to try this again with the other large stamp in this set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Give this fun technique a try.

Don't miss out on the Natures Paintings, they are discounted and are on the last chance list. I think they will go fast!

More Celebration!

I couldn't pass up the fun "celebrate" in fun colors on the inspiration for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. I kept this card pretty simple. I created the banner with the dies from the Hot Air Balloon Dies. I liked the cute little flowers in the inspiration pic and so I added a few from the Hearts & Hugs Dies. The large "celebrate" was created with Alpha a La Mode Dies. For the background I used inks in the same colors as the alphabet letters. I lightly used a Blending Brush to apply the ink. I added a little spritz of water and a few flicks of White Ink Refill.

I finished it off with a few pearls in the center of the flowers. I love what a bright and cheery card this is and great for many occasions! Thanks for stopping by!
