Sketch Challenge

 

Here are a few more ideas to hopefully get your creative juices going for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. For these 2 cards I did the reverse sides of the retired saleabration DSP. 

For this card I kind of made the banners on the sides a little too big, but thats ok. I used the leaf die from the Memorable Blooms Dies and the greeting is from the Courage & Faith Stamp Set.

This card I used the Mixed Florals Bundle. I stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink and then used a Blender Pen to add a little color. That was an easy way to add color. Just stamp and then use the Blender Pen to pull the ink into the areas you want to add color.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #458

 

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge has a great sketch for this week! I played with some of the saleabration DSP that I am sorry to say is no longer available however, you can always use any DSP in its place. I created 2 different cards with this sketch. The fun part about the Stampin' Up DSP is that it is double sided. On the reverse side I stamped a few stamps from the Mixed Florals Bundle then I used Stampin' Blends to add a little color. 

For this card I used one of the dies in place of the ribbon on the sketch, a retired die to cut the pieces for the sides and stamped the sentiment and used Unbounded Love Dies to cut out. 

For the second card I used another stamp from the Mixed Florals Bundle and then the other side of the die cut piece for the side pieces. I used some retired ribbon and the greeting is from the Faith Collection Bundle. Thanks so much for stopping by. I can't wait to see what creative ideas you have for this sketch!

Memorable Blooms Bundle

 

Happy March!

I am loving the Memorable Blooms Bundle, Everyday Arches and Linked Together Masks these days. I love how they all look together! I stamped with Memento Ink and used Stampin' Blends to color. I die cut the arch with Basic Black Cardstock to create a window. Using the Masks I lightly added ink to the background. I white heat embossed the sentiment and added a few sequins to finish the card off.

Beach Days

 

Tomorrow is the last day to get FREE product for the saleabration sale! I used the Bloom Impressions DSP with the Beach Day Stamps and Dies. I also had to use the Everyday Arches for my cute little beach scene. I used Stampin' Blends to add a little extra dimension to the die cuts.

Mised Florals Watercolored

 

I love the Mixed Florals Bundle and I was in the mood to watercolor so I stamped it with Staz On Black Ink and then used a Water Painter and ink refills. After it dried I used Watercolor Pencils to add extra color and details. For the background I wanted it to look like the flowers in the distance and so I used mostly water and a very little ink with the same colors to give the illusion of flowers in the distance. For a little something different cut the piece into 4 pieces and adhered with a little space between pieces. The greeting is from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, white heat embossed.

Saleabration Ending Soon

I used masking paper to create the horizon line and ink blended the sky and water.

Sunday Stamps #354

 

The color challenge over at Sunday Stamps just screams spring to me. And another watercolor practice day makes me so happy with these colors. I stamped the Mixed Florals twice and used a loose style with the color combo. I used a Water Painter and a few ink refills to color. I finished the card off with a Low Profile Dots, which I love because they will be easy to mail but still add a little bling.

Faith Collection

 

The new Faith Collection Bundle is just beautiful for either Easter cards or all occasions. I used the colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge for my card today. Along with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and Everyday Arches Dies. I felt like the arch had a tomb feel to it so I will have to revisit that idea and see what I can come up with. Stay tuned. I added a few retired rhinestones for added bling. I think this makes a stunning Easter card.

Welcome to a fun Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge. This is such a different color combo for me. I had so much fun playing with it and I hope you do too! I haven't used the Beach Day Stamps and Dies for a while and so I pulled them out for this fun scene that I created on the Everyday Arches Dies ( should be renamed every card arches- since I feel like I use them on every card, haha) For the background layer I used the So Swirly Embossing Folder for a little movement.

Yellow Peony

 

Doesn't this beautiful Peony look amazing colored in Daffodil Delight? And it goes so well with the Saleabration FREE Bloom Impressions DSP. I used the Everyday Arches for my Poised Peony. I colored with Stampin' Blends. The greeting is die cut with Unbounded Love Die. For the background layer I used Fern 3D Embossing Folder on Basic White Cardstock.
