Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #465

Check out the amazing inspiration from this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. So many beautiful images and colors! I loved the flowers and so I used the colors and a retired stamp set. I colored with Stampin' Blends. I used 2 embossing folders, the So Swirly and Perfectly Plaid. I finished it with a few of the low profile dots.
I am excited to see what you create! Have a great week!

Faith Collection

I had a few scraps on my desk and so while cleaning I decide to create a quick card for next Easter.  Faith Collection Bundle is what I used for this card.
Don't forget that there are many new items on the last chance list. Some are greatly reduced in price.

The sale with the suite products is a great deal! Just a reminder you do not have to order the whole suite. For example, you could order an embossing folder from one suite and then DSP from another. The 50% discount is then taken from the lower priced item. I hope this makes sense!

Album Retreat Kit!

Create with a new month by month album! Order the kit and then you can join in the fun with a virtual class.  Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!

BOGO 50% off

Shop with me today! This is a great sale you will not want to miss! This sale includes all current suite items as well as last chance items. The item that is the lowest price will be the 50% off item. Let me know if you have any questions!
Enjoy shopping!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #464

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge has a great sketch for this week! I have not used the Cutest Onesie Bundle in a while and so I decided to make a boy and girl card. I stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. I added a little extra lines and dot to dress up the onesies. Using the Spotlight In Nature dies to cut out the images.  I used the Perfectly Plaid Embossing Folder for the one layer in the back and for the other layer I used a stamp in the set with Versamark Ink to add a little to the plain cardstock.

Here are a close up of each of the cards.
I am excited to see what stamps you use with this sketch!
Have a great week!

Freshly Made Sketches #686

Back today with a fun sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. I stamped with Mixed Florals Stamp with Memento Ink so that I could use Stampin' Blends to color. I used the Everyday Arches in place of the heart for my window. The Woven Textures DSP is on the back panel for extra added texture. I finished it off with a few Holographic Dots.

It ended up being a pretty quick and easy card and I really like this sketch! I will have to use it again! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

TGIF Challenge # 524

This card was inspired by the fun TGIF Sketch Challenge. I started with a piece of fluid watercolor paper and did a quick ink smooshing all over with Bubble Bath Ink. I stamped my image from the Mixed Florals Bundle with Memento Ink and then used Stampin' Blends to color. I used the Textured Notes Dies to cut out the piece when it had dried. I stamped the adorable lady bugs and used circle punches to cut out.

The greeting is from the retired Beach Days Stamp set. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #463

It is time for a Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. Some soft colors for todays. I thought of a soft hydrangea flower and so I used the Thankful Garden Bundle. I stamped the image with versamark and then white heat embossed it. Using the colors from the challenge I used a loose watercolor technique. Applying clean water and then dropping in ink refills with my Water Painter. I waited for this to dry and then went in with a second layer of color to give it a bolder look.

For the background I die cut the leaf several times with Basic White Cardstock and then used Multipurpose Glue to adhere to a piece of Basic White Cardstock. I trimmed off the excess.  I like the dimension that this gives the card but doesn't take away from the focal image. After I die cut the flower I adhered that to a Textured Notes rectangle and then I stamped the greeting with Smoky Slate Ink. I finished the card off with a few Holographic Dots. Love these and might see them on every card I create.
Thanks for stopping by today! I am excited to see what this group of colors inspires you to create!

June Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin has a beautiful Floral Charm Suite for this month! You will not want to miss out!

Thankful Garden Watercolor

Somedays I just want to play with water and ink. Today was one of those days. I white heat embossed the Thankful Garden Flower on Fluid Watercolor Paper and then applied clean water with a Water Painter. Then I used ink refills to drop in ink. I love to use a variety of colors to watch the colors combine. For this card I used Highland Heather, Bubble Bath, Garden Green and Granny Apple Green. I used a Textured Notes rectangle die to cut out and adhered to Bubble Bath Cardstock that I had embossed with the Perfectly Plaid Embossing Folder. I finished the card with a few Holographic Dots, a must have for any card!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you find some time to play with water and ink!

Notes & Totes Trader Joe's Style

Here is my second card created with the Notes & Totes Dies to create a pastel Trader Joe bag. Do you have one of those adorable bags? I was lucky enough that my daughter bought me one a few weeks ago and I love it! If you aren't that lucky than have no fear you can create your own with the new Notes & Totes Dies. They will be available on May 6th (tomorrow) when the new annual catalog is going live. I was able to purchase these dies and stamps, (comes in a bundle with a 10% discount) early because I am a demonstrator.
I added color with Stampin' Blends to add a little more dimension to the tote. When adhering the tote to the card I used tear tape just on the flaps that fold in after die cutting. This left enough of a gap to add the gift card. How fun that you can personalize the tote for any gift card you may have! I have a few other cards that I have created with this die set, check them out.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that the Notes & Totes Bundle is on your shopping list today!

Freshly Made Sketches #684

Today for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge I couldn't help but use the new Note & Totes Dies. They will be available next week with the release of the new annual Stampin' Up Catalog. Are you caught up in the pastel totes from Trader Joes craze? Well, this is my take on the pink one. I know here in Southern California they go so fast and people get in line hours before the store even opens.

To add the Trader Joes gift card I just adhered the tote with the folded parts with Tear Tape. Any gift card would fit well. I used a few Stampin' Blends to add a little dimension to the tote. On the actual Trader Joe totes they have the logo on the center in a different pastel color so that is where I put one of the other dies from the set.  I also used the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder in the background layer with a strip of highland heather cardstock.

If you have not seen the other totes I have created, I invite you to check out older posts on my blog. I am having so much fun seeing what fun bags I will create. Monday I will have another Trader Joe tote idea for you. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to visit the Freshly Made Sketches Blog for all the wonderful ideas with this sketch.

More Thankful Garden cards

If you haven't noticed lately I have really been into flowers. Part of that is the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge for this week. I love how easy it is to color with a blending brush and the stencils that coordinate with the Thankful Garden Stamps. I like to vary the colors and so I thought with 2 big flowers coming in from the corners that a bold white embossed sentiment on black cardstock would be perfect. I finished the card with a few holographic dots which I love because they go with everything and really pick up whatever color you use them with.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I truly am grateful for all of you who come and see my blog. I have so much fun creating and it is a joy to share with you!
