Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #473

Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge. How fun is this challenge? I have been so busy and so this post is a little short, but I hope to have time to play with this sketch more in the coming week and share with you.

I used a few retired products, I think to myself I have all these wonderful products why not use them? I like to mix the old and the retired. The Celebration Cake Die was on last chance list, not sure if it still is. This is a great stand alone die set. I also used the Country Woods DSP, Perfectly Plaid EF, Spotlight On Nature Dies and a few low profile dots.

I hope this inspires you to play along this week! I know you will have amazing ideas! I look forward to seeing them and hopefully I will be able to share more ideas in the coming week for this sketch.
Thank you for stopping by!

Another challenge idea

For this card I used the same colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge but I did a quick watercolor for coloring the images. I stamped with StazOn Black Ink and used a water painter and ink refills to add color. I kept it very simple.

For the background I used the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder and then Blending Brushes to add color along with a few splatters. The sentiment is die cut with the Textured Notes Dies and the large rectangle behind is the same die set. I added a few retired dots and a linen bow to finish the card off.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #472

Time for a color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Fun colors to use with a new bundle, Amber Autumn! This bundle has beautiful images as well as great sentiments and amazing dies. I used the Stampin' Blends in the colors from the challenge to color.

The large die in the background is one of my favorites. I used a piece of Country Woods DSP behind the die. Of course I had to use the Everyday Arches to highlight the pretty pumpkins. And I finished it off with a few of the low profile dots and a little linen thread bow.

This card came together pretty quickly. I hope you have time to create with these fun fall colors. I look forward to what inspires you!
Have a blessed day!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #471

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge 471 is sure to make you want to pull out your stamps and dies! I love all the images! It was a hard decision what you to use so I had to go with the Sunflower Embossing Folder! I just adore this folder and could use it on all my projects!

I started with ink blending with flirty flamingo, pumpkin pie and daffodil delight. Then ran it through with the embossing folder. I used the spritzer to add a generous amount of water and let it dry. I also added a little splatter of each color to the specific areas. I wanted the focus to be on the flowers and so I didn't cut it down much. I used a scissors to distress the edges and mounted it on a piece of Country Woods DSP.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you join the fun and create something amazing with all the inspiration above!

Scraps into cards

A few more scraps on my deck to create with for the  Hand Stamped Sentiment Challenge! If you haven't tried stamping on your dsp give it a try! It is really fun and you can create some really unique pieces.

Enjoy the process and have a great day!

Sketch Challenge

Another idea for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. I did move the sentiment, mostly because I was going by memory to create this card. I forgot the sentiment was supposed to be on the side. But that is the fun of a sketch, it's your card so you can take and choose what you like!
I hope you join us and create your own spin on the sketch!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #470

Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge is a creative way to get the juices flowing! I had a bunch of random sized scraps on my desk and so I created a few cards!

This sketch is great for all those leftover pieces of cardstock and dsp you have and all you have to do is either add a image or a sentiment. I couldn't resist adding a few sequins and some linen thread to a few of the ideas I am sharing.

Do you notice this new Embossing Folder in the background? I am so excited to play with it! It is part of the new items that will be available in September. Stampin' Up will have new online exclusive items as well as a holiday catalog.

The Country Woods DSP goes with everything, if you haven't gotten a pack or 2 I would highly recommend it! (sorry about the small dog hair on the bottom of the photos, I didn't realize it until I uploaded the pics)

I would love to see what you create with this sketch! Make sure to share with everyone over at the Hand Stamped Sentiment Blog
Thanks for stopping by!

Another Color Challenge Idea

This card was quick and easy! I used the Everyday Arches with the Bokah Dsp in Fresh Freesia color and then die cut the leaves from the Thankful Garden Bundle with Pool Party Dsp and used a blending brush to add a little more color. The flower is whit heat embossed and die cut with Blackberry Bliss Cardstock. The greeting is also in the same cardstock with the Mini Alphabet Dies. A few Holographic dots to finish it off.

Thank you for stopping by I hope you have time to join the fun over at Hand Stamped Sentiments for the color challenge!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #469

Today I share with you what I created with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge. I have not used the Notes & Totes Dies for a while now and so I just had to pull them out for this challenge. The bag was created with the Woven Textures DSP (one of my favorites for these dies).

For the background I used a small circle punch and cut out a few circles on a window sheet and then used a blending brush with Pool Party to make the soft circles. I love how this turned out.
I look forward to seeing what you create! Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
