Autumn is in the air

Just a quick post to show you one of the cards I created with the Amber Autumn Bundle. I have had so much fun coloring this set and I have so many ideas to show you. I also used the Branching Out Dies for the background. Those dies are a must!
I pray you are having a great day and get to create something that brings you joy and you can share with others.  Thanks for stopping by!

Notes & Totes

I have not given my Notes & Totes Dies a lot of love lately and so I had to create a fall inspired bag. I used the Amber Autumn Bundle for my card along with the Branching Out Dies for the background. Since I had a lot going on with the bag I kept the background all white and used the Perfectly Plaid Embossing Folder on the outer layer. I used a water painter and ink refills to color the large fall image and then I did a smooshing technique for the leaves in the bag.
I hope this inspired you to create a fun fall bag today!

Grateful

I love this greeting from the Amber Autumn Bundle. I am truly grateful for all of you who visit my blog. I have so much fun creating card and can't wait to share them with you.
My card today was colored with watercolor pencils and blender pen. I used the Country Wood DSP and Textured Notes Dies to cut out the main image. I finished it off again with a few of my favorite retired sequins.
Thank you again for stopping by and I do really appreciate you!

Keep it Simple

This card was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and how to keep a card simple. You do not have to color your line art images to have a beautiful card. For this challenge I stamped the image with the Saddle Brown Staz On Ink Pad and thought I would color with watercolor pencils and blender pen but after I stamped it I liked it the way it was. So I combined it with a piece of Woven Textured DSP, cut the image out with the Spotlight On Nature Dies and white heat embossed the greeting on Early Espresso Cardstock. I finished it with a few sequins and that was it.
I hope this inspires you to let the line art do the work for you and make a quick and easy card!

Amber Autumn

I have been really inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge this week. Using the Amber Autumn Bundle has been so fun! I love to color and so I have been finding so many ways to color up this set. For this card, I used Fluid Watercolor Paper and Staz On ink so that I could watercolor the scene. I used a water painter and ink refills for the coloring. After it dried, I used the Everyday Arches for the main image as well as the large arch that I die cut with Country Woods DSP.
For the background piece I used a retired embossing folder, but you could use any that you have on hand. A few circle punches were used to cut out the greeting and a few retired sequins to finish off the card.
Have a great day!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #474

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge has some amazing inspiration for this week! I will have so many more cards to share. I love fall, the colors, the cooler weather and all the cozy clothes. I kept this card pretty simple. Using the Amber Autumn Bundle I stamped with Staz On Ink on Fluid Watercolor Paper so that I could use a water painter and ink refills to watercolor. I used several of the dies to cut out the image, the background and a few extra leaves. I also used a few dies from a retired die set from last fall.

I added a few retired sequins to add a little sparkle to the card.
I am really excited to see what you create with all these fun images!
Have a great week!

Sketch Challenge

I have finally found a few minutes to create another card with the sketch challenge for this week, over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I used a few retired items for this card. I love using the supplies that I have, especially the ones that I really like. I forgot how much I love these cute houses from the holiday stamps from last year. (you might be seeing them again.)
I ink blended the background and then use Country Woods DSP for the torn parts on top and bottom. The greeting is from the set of preprinted cut outs. We also have a fun group of those this year in the new catalog. They really come in handy!
Have a great day and I hope you were able to play along with the sketch for this week!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #473

Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge. How fun is this challenge? I have been so busy and so this post is a little short, but I hope to have time to play with this sketch more in the coming week and share with you.

I used a few retired products, I think to myself I have all these wonderful products why not use them? I like to mix the old and the retired. The Celebration Cake Die was on last chance list, not sure if it still is. This is a great stand alone die set. I also used the Country Woods DSP, Perfectly Plaid EF, Spotlight On Nature Dies and a few low profile dots.

I hope this inspires you to play along this week! I know you will have amazing ideas! I look forward to seeing them and hopefully I will be able to share more ideas in the coming week for this sketch.
Thank you for stopping by!

Another challenge idea

For this card I used the same colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge but I did a quick watercolor for coloring the images. I stamped with StazOn Black Ink and used a water painter and ink refills to add color. I kept it very simple.

For the background I used the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder and then Blending Brushes to add color along with a few splatters. The sentiment is die cut with the Textured Notes Dies and the large rectangle behind is the same die set. I added a few retired dots and a linen bow to finish the card off.
Thanks for stopping by today!
