Coffee!
Who remembers this adorable designer series paper? I couldn't resist creating this card inspired by the sketch at the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge! I love coffee and was so sad to see this paper and stamp bundle retire. It is one that I will always keep. What bundles, dies or stamps will you never get rid of?

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #476
Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge sketch is so creative! In the next couple days I will share a few ideas with retired papers and items. I have been cleaning out retired papers and found so many papers that I love and decided to play with them. I did use a few current items for my cards. I hope you enjoy and it inspires you to go through your retired stash and create!

More for the color challenge
I have been waiting to use this gorgeous new Embossing Folder and this color challenge was the perfect thing I was looking for. The best part was the Traditional Wreath EF is so large I was able to create 2 cards!
After I embossing the image I colored with Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. I cut it in half and adhered one to another embossed piece and added a retired sentiment that I thought was pretty close to Secret Sea.
For the other half I started with a piece of Pool Party Cardstock and ink blended with Secret Sea Ink on the edge, leaving a light hallow. I used a gold watercolor to add my spatter. The greeting is from a retired set of greetings.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge 475

Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge has a color combo that I found kind of interesting. I would not have thought of putting these colors together, yet I am so happy with the card that came from the challenge. I used the Branching Out Dies for my card. I love that not only this die set has nesting shapes but also branches and berries. I die cut the pieces in white cardstock and then colored with Stampin'
Blends. For the background I used a blender brush to apply my ink and did a few splatters.

Stretching Supplies with Amber Autumn Dies
For today's card I wanted to use the leaf from the Amber Autumn Bundle to create a wreath. I wet a piece of water color paper and then smooshed yellow and greens on the paper. I love how fun and simple that is. I was able to die cut so many leaves. When these leaves die cut the center is also cut out, I did not want to waste these pieces, so I also added them to create a little fuller wreath.
The greeting was die cut with the Textured Notes Dies and I added a few retired dots for bling.

Autumn is in the air
Just a quick post to show you one of the cards I created with the Amber Autumn Bundle. I have had so much fun coloring this set and I have so many ideas to show you. I also used the Branching Out Dies for the background. Those dies are a must!

Notes & Totes
I have not given my Notes & Totes Dies a lot of love lately and so I had to create a fall inspired bag. I used the Amber Autumn Bundle for my card along with the Branching Out Dies for the background. Since I had a lot going on with the bag I kept the background all white and used the Perfectly Plaid Embossing Folder on the outer layer. I used a water painter and ink refills to color the large fall image and then I did a smooshing technique for the leaves in the bag.

My card today was colored with watercolor pencils and blender pen. I used the Country Wood DSP and Textured Notes Dies to cut out the main image. I finished it off again with a few of my favorite retired sequins.

Keep it Simple
This card was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and how to keep a card simple. You do not have to color your line art images to have a beautiful card. For this challenge I stamped the image with the Saddle Brown Staz On Ink Pad and thought I would color with watercolor pencils and blender pen but after I stamped it I liked it the way it was. So I combined it with a piece of Woven Textured DSP, cut the image out with the Spotlight On Nature Dies and white heat embossed the greeting on Early Espresso Cardstock. I finished it with a few sequins and that was it.
I hope this inspires you to let the line art do the work for you and make a quick and easy card!
