This bundle, sending hugs really had me hooked! I am having so much fun playing with it and I hope you are not tired of seeing samples. I still have a few more ideas. Is anyone else like me and when you start with a set you think of more ideas and so you forget all the other sets you have. That is happening to me with this bundle. I started by white heat embossing it on fluid 100 watercolor paper and then the fun began.
I picked melon mambo, cameo coral, daffodil delight, highland heather, bermuda bay and granny apple green refills. I put a little drop of each on an acrylic block and then using my water painters applied color. Letting the colors bleed into the colors next to each other but being careful they did not bleed into the colors opposite the color wheel (then I would get mud).
After my first layer of color I let the paper dry and then added 2 more layers. Letting it dry so the colors would be more transparent. For the word "hugs" I was going to just let it stay with the colors but I felt that it got a little lost, so I decided to make it pop with die cutting the word 3 times and gluing together and mounting it all on the card. I kept the watercolor paper card size and mounted it all on a regular card.
