Hand Stamped Sentiments #380

HI! Welcome back to another hand stamped sentiment challenge. So excited! Today we have a really fun sketch challenge. I know you will have so many ideas for this great arrangement. I created 2 cards, I will share the other one tomorrow. I can't wait to see which one you like best. I think I like this one a little better and so that is why I submitted it for the challenge. Check out this sketch!

I haven't used the whale done stamp set in a while so I thought it might need a little love. I also thought it could be a masculine Valentine's card. I began with using the seashells embossing folder on balmy blue and then white heat embossed the fish and jelly fish on a strip of vellum. Using the basic border dies I ran the cloud looking die through with balmy blue card stock but I used the negative piece for a wave looking pattern. I smooshed it a little and swiped white ink to soften the look.

I mounted a piece of you're a peach designer series paper and then stamped the greeting with misty moonlight and die cut with my tasteful label dies. I finished that with a few fish stamped with balmy blue that I stamped a few times without reinking so some of them would be lighter and appear farther away. Using my blending brush I applied a light layer of balmy blue. I used a piece of white ribbon that I tied in knot and placed behind the greeting.

I had such a fun time creating this card, I hope you like it! I am really excited to see what you can create with this sketch. I know that they will all be fabulous. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a healthy and safe week.
