Emboss resist has to be one of my favorite techniques! If you are not familiar with it I will try to explain. You start with heat embossing an image, like I did the butterfly stamp (3 times). I embossed with white and then when the melted powder has cooled, using your blending brushes, gently apply ink. It really is that simple!
For this card I used the amazing silhouettes stamp bundle. I did put apply a layer of color with my blending brushes and then white heat embossed the butterfly 3 times. Then I went over with more color to really make the butterflies pop!
For the greeting I used the fabulous dies that are in this bundle! I am so excited to have dies that cut out the greeting and the shadow! I used the tasteful textile embossing folder to add some texture. Let me know what your favorite technique is. If you haven't tried emboss resist give it a try!
