Hello stamping friends! Today I have a few cards I created with some scraps that I had on my desk. I am so sad that the sending hugs stamp bundle is retiring! (As I post this I am sorry only the dies are currently available.) I have really had a great time with it. I kept the color scheme the same for all the cards: fresh freesia, daffodil delight and soft succulent.
For my first card I used my blending brushes to apply the ink. Then I die cut it with the largest die. I die cut the "hugs" with grey 3 times and then glued them together for a stacked look and so they would really pop! I used the gingham embossing folder and placed it all on a coloring blocked background.
For the next card I white heat embossed on shimmery cardstock the largest stamp and used my water painters to color the images. I used a vellum scrap die cut behind the image, a piece of beyond horizon designer series paper for the bottom layer. I finished it off with a few iridescent gems and wink of stella.
The final card was very quick. I swiped with the 3 different ink pads on the large stamp. The letters are die cut and I added pearls to finish the card. I think these are really fun cards and I love how different they look even though they are all the same colors. I am sorry for anything that is no longer available. Daily many things have been retired, quantities are limited!
