I love the new Alphabet A La Mode Dies, just in case I haven't mentioned that before! I couldn't resist making a fun "X and O" card and the best part is that I got a 2 for one! I started with smooshing Mambo Melon, Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo onto a misted piece of Fluid Watercolor Paper. I let that dry and then die cut the letters out.
For this card I did the emboss resist technique for my background. I clear heat embossed the hearts from the Celebrate with Tags Stamp set on Fluid watercolor paper and then did the same smooshing technique as the previous piece of watercolor paper. After it dried I cut it apart and adhered the "x and o".
The greeting is from the Thanks a Bunch Saleabration Stamp Set and the flower (from Framed Florets Stamp Set) was a leftover I had on my desk from another project and worked perfectly with these colors. I finished the card off with a few Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
I couldn't throw away the negative piece of watercolor paper and so I decided to create a card with basically the same layout. I had a few hearts from the Charming Sentiments Dies on my desk so I used those and the greeting is from Framed Florets Stamp Set. I also used the same Pastel Sequins.
I hope you like these fun cards and you are inspired to create from all the pieces and parts on your desk. Have a great day!
