Lately my pile of scraps on my desk has been growing. So I have a few cards to share the next few days with bit and pieces that have been on my desk. I watercolored these Palm Dies trees a while ago and just didn't use them. They are so fun and bright! I also had this background piece from a project that I didn't use and so I thought they would be great together. For the background piece it was very simple, just ink refills and water painter and painted stripes on Fluid Watercolor Paper. Let it dry and then sprinkled a few drops of water and blotted with a paper towel. The trees were created by wetting a piece of Fluid Watercolor Paper and then applying ink refills. I let that dry and then added another layer of water and ink. After it had dried completely I die cut. The greeting from the Paradise Palms Stamp Set was white heat embossed and I used the Layering Circle Dies.
Use those scraps and come back tomorrow to see what other scraps have been on my desk.
