Hand Stamped Sentiments #414

Thank you so much for stopping by today and check out the amazing inspiration board for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge this week! I am in love with everything on this page. I have not used the Sending Smiles Stamp Set and Dies in such a long time and I loved the flowers in the top left hand corner. So I thought I would try and create my own. I created so many flowers that I was able to make 2 cards. For the flowers I stamped with Flirty Flamingo Ink and then rolled the edges of the stamp onto Mambo Melon and then I spritzed the stamp (one spritz for the birthday card and 2 spritz for the thanks card). Notice how different a look you can get with 2 spritz, much more watered down. I stamped it then on Shimmery White Cardstock and let it dry completely before die cutting.

For the birthday card I used shimmery white (sorry just noticed that retired, not sure how I missed that before) for the background panel and used a blending brush to apply Balmy Blue and Old Olive ink and then spritzed that as well. After that dried I stamped the stems with Granny Apple Green and Old Olive. Like the flowers I spritzed it before stamping. I did the same with the sentiment.

For the thanks card I did most of the same as the other card, however I only ink blended the Balmy Blue. I also used the Basic Border Dies for the layer piece. Thanks for joining me today, I can't wait to see all the fun cards you all make! Have a great week!

    1. Thank you so much Heather for your sweet comments! It is a really fun technique and you can use it with so many different stamp sets! I didn't have the new bubble bath yet and so now I want to try it with that new pink also.
