Bird's Eye View From the Rustic Crate

 

How cute are these little birds with the crate? For today's card I decided to use the Rustic Crate Bundle with the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set. I set up a quick little scene by stamping the branches directly onto the card panel with Crumb Cake Ink. Using a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake Ink I created a little ledge for the crate and Balmy Blue Ink for a light sky. The crate was white heat embossed on Crumb Cake Cardstock and die cut with Rustic Crate Dies. I stamped the birds on Fluid Watercolor Paper and used a Water Painter and ink refills to color the birds and then fussy cut them out. I used dimensionals on the crate when I adhered it so that I could place the bird in. I thought this greeting was perfect for these little guys! For the card base I lightly used a blending brush with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.
