Hand Stamped Sentiments #425

 

Hello! Time for a fun sketch challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I really wanted to use a stamp set that I have not used in a long time and so I decided on Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set and Waves Dies. My card began with an ink blended background with Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight Inks and Blending Brushes. After my blending was complete I sprinkled clean water and White Ink Refill on the panel with a water painter and let that dry to create the small circles in the sketch. I stamped and cut out the pelican and clouds and adhered them to a Coastal Cabana Cardstock circle that was die cut with the Reach for The Stars Dies. After I adhered the bird and clouds I cut them so they would fit on the circle and not overlap. For the strip behind the circle I ran a piece of Basic White Cardstock through with the Cheery Patterns Embossing Folder because it kind of looked like waves to me. I finished the card off with a few Pastel Adhesive- Backed Sequins.
