Happy New Year and welcome back to the first color challenge of the new year! These are really fun colors that I do not typically use so it was a fun challenge! I used several new products from the new mini catalog as well as an item from the saleabration catalog. Yes in case you missed it, it's saleabration time! I love anytime I can get something for FREE and this is a great opportunity to purchase from the main catalog, the new mini, paper pumpkin or from the online exclusives for free product. For this card I used the inlay technique. I used the new Memorable Blooms Bundle and die cut the flower die 3 times. (One of each of the challenge colors) and then keeping the pieces together (this is very important so that you know what goes where). I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the main flower frame to a piece of Basic White Cardstock and then dropped a dot of glue in the area I wanted to adhere the inside of the flowers and leaves. I suggest your Take Your Pick Tool because that makes life so much easier with the small pieces.
For the background I used the Starstruck Embossing Folder (one of the saleabration items). After I embossed it I gently rubbed my White Ink Pad across to help the image really pop. The Memorable Blooms Bundle has so many wonderful sentiments and so I white heat embossed one and kept the rest of the card fairly simple.
