The Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge this week is filled with beautiful birthday cakes, I am sure hungry for cake after seeing these! Since I do not have any cake stamps I decided to use the colors in the inspiration pics and create a birthday card. The Online Exclusive Mixed Florals Bundle is one of my favorites! You will be seeing a lot of it I am sure! I stamped the image with Staz On Ink on Fluid Watercolor Paper and used a Water Painter and Ink refill to watercolor.
I tried to do a somewhat messy watercolor letting the water and ink spill over the stamped lines. After a few layers of color I also added smooshed ink and water around the outer edges. I know I still have a lot of practice for my watercoloring but I do enjoy the process, which I think is most important!
