TGIF Sketch Challenge

I had so much fun playing with the new TGIF sketch challenge. The new frosted gingerbread stamp set and gingerbread and peppermint dsp were calling my name. This paper is adorable and the stamps and dies are so fun.

The card was created mostly with the designer series paper. The dies cut out some of the images which saves so much time fussy cutting. The paper also has really cute plaid patterns. For the greeting I stamped and white heat embossed on cinnamon cider and then used only part of the long stamp to go under the greeting. I also white heat embossed that. Then with my blending brushes I gently applied ink to the edge. For the background I used the tasteful textile 3D embossing folder on white card stock and then using my brushes also applied ink to the edges. Then I weathered it by gently rubbing the sharp end of my scissors across the paper. If you do this please be careful and use a dull scissors and keep your fingers away from the blade.

I used the die to cut out the star cookie and then applied shimmery crystal effects on the cinnamon cider color part. I think this adds some fun dimension and makes it sparkle. Who doesn't like a sparkling cookie?

I then finished it off with a holiday rhinestone to bring out the red from the background. Thank you so much for stopping by. I love the cards that the designers created on the TGIF website, check them out! Don't forget that the new paper pumpkin is available to order!
