This last week I have been able to sit down and play more with the frosted gingerbread bundle. I have had so much fun and I love the peppermints in the set. The gingerbread and peppermint designer series paper is gorgeous! I used the peppermints for the "o" in both words, combined with the playful alpha dies.
Both cards are the same design with a few of the other dies from the gingerbread die. The only little bit of stamping I did on the "joy" card was versamark ink and the candy stamp on the red on the card base. If you are only familiar with the versamark pad for heat embossing, you can also use it to make a watermark on card stock. I think it looks best on darker colors. I also used the tasteful textile embossing folder on the large circle.
For the "love" card I again used a few of the designer series papers and the merry melody embossing folder. I finished the card off with a few of the from my heart faceted gems.
