Hi! This card is not what I had in my mind when I started to make it. I like it but don't love it. Does that ever happen to you? I loved how these snowflakes turned out but when it came to creating a card it just wasn't doing them justice. I used the watercolor paper that I had created for the snowflakes from Monday's card. Check it out here in case you missed it. I used the frosted gingerbread bundle to create the outline of the snowflake and the for the greeting.
The background layer is vellum embossed with the evergreen forest embossing folder. I attached it all to a piece of misty moonlight card stock base. Added a few from my heart gems to finish the card off.
I attached the vellum behind the snowflakes so that you wouldn't see the adhesive however I think because I ran it through with the embossing folder it really started to unflatten. I should have put it under a book or something until it became flat again.
I hope this card gives you some inspiration. I would love to know if you are still making cards? Or have you mailed them out and working on new projects? Don't forget many of the sets and accessories that are retiring are going fast. Get them while they are still available. Have a blessed week!
