Happy Friday! Are you ever just in the mood to color? I love to color pretty much all the time! Since it has been some time I decided to stamp in momento ink the flowers from the friendly hello stamp set (a FREE saleabration set). I stamped them 3 times and then stamped a bunch of leaves. I colored with flirty flamingo stampin blends for the flowers and old olive for the leaves.
For the background of the "hello friend" card I stamped in crumb cake and so saffron some of the other stamps in the set. I stamped the greeting in basic black. For the flirty flamingo card base I used the gingham embossing folder and gently rubbed my white ink pad across to get some of it to really pop.
For the birthday card, I used the merry melody embossing folder (so glad that this was continued). I stamped the greeting on a separate piece of basic white paper and attached to the embossed piece before attaching my flowers and leaves with dimensionals.
To finish the card I added a few iridescent rhinestone jewels and a few highlights with my chalk marker.
I hope you find some time to either color or craft today. It is truly great for relaxation. Have a blessed day!
