Hugs and Kisses

Hello! I am so excited to share another card with the sweet conversation bundle. I just couldn't wait to show you this sweet one. It came together pretty quickly. I started with a piece of shimmery white card stock that I white heat embossed the "x" and "o" randomly. (If you are not familiar with embossing, I stamped the image with versamark ink and then sprinkle on white embossing powder and finally melting with my heat tool.) Then I spritzed with water. Using my water painter and ink refills dropped in pool party, petal pink and highland heather. I moved the ink around a little. I let it dry completely. Fun tip, did you know a good way to tell if your paper is completely dry is by touch, if it is cool it is probably still not all the way dry. Then I went back in with a little more color with my water painter and ink in a few areas to give a little more dimension.

While that dried, I die cut the words "hugs, kisses" from the playful alphabet dies in pool party and the "&" in petal pink. I attached them with multipurpose liquid glue to a vellum piece that I had die cut with stitched so sweetly rectangle die. The "&" I did pop up with dimenstionals.

To attach the vellum piece I used multipurpose liquid glue and gently placed in the watercolored piece. I finished with a few iridescent rhinestone basic jewels. Pretty sure these are my favorite of all time! The shine is gorgeous. I mounted the entire piece on petal pink card stock. Thank you so much for stopping by. If you have any questions let me know.
