I couldn't wait to play with the new natural tone stampin blends. You can buy them all together (10 markers) or in packs of 2's like the regular blends. However they are not like the others that they are a dark and light, they are all different colors. The stamp set that I practiced skin and hair is the FREE saleabration stamp set, catching butterflies. Such an adorable stamp set.
I paired it with the new horizon designer series paper. I used my stitched rectangle dies to cut 3 pieces for the background since I had colored her dress in blackberry bliss it was a great color match. The color coordination that Stampin' Up has is one of my favorites. The chalk marker was great for adding polka dots to her dress.
I finished the card off with a few brushed brass butterflies. Don't they look so fun! I love the new tones of stampin blends. They are really fun to experiment with. Try just a few or get them all at once. If you order them and a momento ink pad you can get the catching butterflies for FREE!
