Classic Cards

Happy Friday! I don't feel you can ever go wrong with a classic black and white card, so why not make 2! The perfectly penciled designer series paper makes it easy. For these 2 cards I used different sides of the papers. I tried to use a line drawing and a more solid piece. The stitched rectangle die was used to cut the line drawn panel and the sentiment. Both of the sentiments are from the sending smiles stamp set.

I used a few strands of the white baker's twine (which I pulled apart to make it look fuller) to create my bow. I colored the rhinestones basic jewels with my black Stampin' blends. A great back up if you do not have the color of embellishment you would like to include.

For the second card I used a layer of vellum to emphasize the sentiment.  For this card I colored a few of the basic pearl jewels with my black Stampin blend. If you have not purchased the perfectly penciled designer series paper I hope this inspires you to give it a try. If you have it in your stash, take out the beautiful paper and make a few quick and beautiful cards!
