Where do you get your inspiration from? This card was inspired by the shirt of a lady in front of me at church the other day. (Not really what I should have been doing in church, maybe it was a divine inspiration) She had a beautiful Hawaiian style shirt with ferns and a bright green color embellishment. As soon as I got home I new I could recreate it my way. Using the fern die from the palms dies (one of my favorite die sets) I cut out many white ferns. With my night of navy dark and light Stampin' blends and the dark balmy blue I colors just the vein part. I stamped the greeting from a grand kid stamp set with night of navy on parakeet party cardstock and then using layering circles die cut it out.
I am really happy with the way that this card turned out! Just a little reminder that you will never know where you can get inspiration from. Thank you God!
