Winter Sunset

Hi! So glad you are here. Today was a fun day of stamping, I used up some of my scraps to create a winter sunset card. (another one of the challenges on instagram) What a fun idea! I googled what a winter sunset looks like and I found a picture with beautiful blue and pink colors. Since I had a piece of balmy blue cardstock (from another project that I didn't use) that I had clear embossed with the Rays of Light Background Stamp, I thought I could make it work.
Using blending brushes I applied night of navy, balmy blue and polished pink ink to the rays. Then I used the Basic Border Dies for the night of navy evening snow drifts. I also ink blended night of navy on the bottom half and then switched to mambo melon (the polished pink did not show up enough on the navy cardstock) for added dimension.

I finished the card off with a Wonderful Snowflakes and sentiment from the Celebrate with Tags Bundle.  Also a few of Rhinestones Basic Jewels. Kind of a fun, nontraditional card but I had so much fun creating it. Have a great day!
