I love the fun sketch over at Global Design Project Blog. I am always looking for new designs for cards and I was really wanting to give this a try. I have had the Taco Fiesta Stamp Set for a while and not had to much of a chance to play with it so this was the perfect opportunity. I started with using the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the pieces in the back and stamped them with some of the smaller stamps from the Taco Fiesta Stamp Set. I stamped and fussy cut the cactus and hat, then used my Stampin' Blends to color. For the greeting I also used one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies after white heat embossing. To repeat the trim on his hat I used the Basic Border Dies. I used the new online exclusive Basics 3D Embossing Folder (however, it is temporarily not available, check back soon to order) For the card base I stamped the same images, it is very subtle and kind of hard to see in the pictures. I had to add a little bling and so I finished the card with a few Pastel Sequins.
Make sure to visit the Global Design Project Blog, the designers have created amazing projects! Have a great day!
