Hand Stamped Sentiments #410

 

Time for another fun color challenge over at the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog. Such sweet soft colors that I couldn't wait to play with! I used a few different products on this card beginning with the Decorative Borders Stamp Set and the Framed Florets Bundle.  I stamped with Stazon Jet Black Ink because I knew I wanted to watercolor. For the leaves I used the water painter and applied pear pizzazz ink and while still wet I put a little dot of balmy blue to give the leaf a little color variation. For the flowers I did a similar thing but this time applying fresh freesia and then a little balmy blue on top. I love the different colors you get when they mix with the water and wet ink.

For the first layer I used Into the Clouds Embossing Folder and gently wiped my white ink pad across it to really make the lines stand out. The trim piece behind the flowers is from the Palms Dies and the flowers are mounted on Subtle Designer Series Paper. I finished it off with a greeting from the Framed Florets Stamp Set and fussy cut it and a few Pastel Sequins to add a little bling.
