Let's Celebrate You with Sunflowers!

 

I think that I have spring on my mind these days and I am so excited to see all the beautiful flowers that all the Southern California rain in going to be bringing! So I have been playing with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set to get in the mood.  This was a fairly quick and easy card. I began with a piece of Fluid Watercolor Paper and spritzed it with water and used my water painter to drop on daffodil delight and calypso coral ink. Then on a separate piece of watercolor paper I used pear pizzazz, balmy blue and old olive. After the pieces dried I used the Sunflower Dies to cut out the solid images and pear pizzazz and early espresso for the detailed dies.  I kept the rest of the card simple with the leaves stamped with smoky slate on basic white cardstock and the greeting with early espresso.
