Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

I am so excited that Stampin' Up has the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks in the new mini catalog! Not only can you create this beautiful flower with layers that are so easy to use but they also have 3 other designs to use on there own. I love this! I wanted to give this a try and see how easy it was and so I started with just the largest flower (there are 2 other smaller flowers on the mask) The masks are made of a nice heavy plastic material and it has a little notch in the bottom corner so that you can line them up more easily. I started with Melon Mambo for the petals concentrating more ink on the base of the petal and then used Blackberry Bliss for the detailed center and Berry Burst Inks for the solid center. I added the leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink blending more ink on the base of the leaves. I used the large Blending Brushes for all the ink blending.

I splattered a little Melon Mambo Ink and Blackberry Bliss Ink to the background. The sentiment is from Courage & Faith Stamp Set stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink. I finished it off with a Brushed Brass Butterfly. The background panel is Berry Burst Cardstock with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder (the flower pattern) an online exclusive. A little White Baker's Twine wrapped around Berry Burst Cardstock.
I am so excited to create more with these fun new masks! They make very quick and easy cards, you have to give them a try! Have a great day!
