Time for a color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments! I used the new Hot Air Balloon Bundle for these colors. I love the variety you can get with the stamps and dies in this bundle! For the Night of Navy I created a watercolor wash on Fluid Watercolor Paper and used Night of Navy Ink for the greeting and used the banner die.
I used the Berry Burst for the balloons. I used a few techniques on the balloons. For the largest I used a Blending Brush with Berry Burst Ink on Basic White Cardstock and sprinkled with water for texture. For one of the balloons I stamped off Berry Burst Ink and die cut and for the third balloon I stamped one-layer full strength and the other layer I stamped off on scratch paper and then stamped so the color is a shade lighter. I used a water painter to go over the Berry Burst Ink after I stamped to give it a faux watercolor look.
The hills are created with Basic Border Dies and Pretty Peacock Cardstock.
