TGIF challenge #268

Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog. Today I made a card for the TGIF card challenge.  When I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to use the new in good taste designer series paper. The only problem was deciding which of the patterns to use. I love them all! I also am obsessed with the celebrate sunflower bundle and have been waiting to try some paper piecing with the dies. So I combined them.  For the paper piecing of the sunflower I die cut the sunflower in both daffodil delight and the new bumblebee card stock. Keeping all the pieces together. Then I die cut the solid sunflower in white card stock, I adhered the outline (in daffodil ) with multipurpose liquid glue and then piece by piece added the bumblebee card stock to the inside of the petals with liquid glue. I love how it turned out!

Here is a close up of the sunflower. The center was die cut in crumb cake and then a little sponging of crumb cake to add a little dimension. The celebrate sunflower die set has so many wonderful pieces. I know that this will be a fun bundle to use in the next year. Thank you for stopping by. Let me know which bundle you like in the new catalog. So far I think this is on the top of my list. Have a blessed day!
