Hand Stamped Sentiments # 374

Hello! Such a great sketch over at the hand stamped sentiments blog and I knew I wanted to use the images I had just colored from the new sweets and treats stamp set. This set is adorable with all the images ready for some fall goodness. I used my stampin blends to color the images after stamping them with momento ink.

After I die cut basic white card stock I used my blending brushes to make a counter for the treats using crumb cake ink. And then when I figured out where I wanted to put the items I swiped some crumb cake stampin blends to make a subtle shadow. The greeting tucked in nicely and stamped in early espresso ink. For the early espresso card stock layer I ran it through with my evergreen forest embossing folder. It really gave some nice texture, if you look really hard you can see the trees but I just wanted some fun texture layer. The large layer in the background is from the in good taste designer series paper.

I added white stampin chalk pen for highlights and to make the caramel apple and pie filling shine I added shimmery crystal effects. This made it look so good I wanted to touch it and eat it! To the cupcake icing I added a little wink of stella.

I finished the card with a few of the brushed metallic dots. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend and I hope you find some time to stamp!

  3. Wow, this is so cute! The extra little touches like the gloss on the caramel apple really does the trick!!! Also, the unexpected combination of a cutsie set like this one and the realistic paper really works! Who would have thought?! Thanks for playing along with us at HSS this week!
