Missed the challenge

 

I have a confession to make, I made these cards for one of the TGIF color challenges and never posted it on my blog or their website. But I thought I would share the cards since I really like the way they both came out. I used the colors they suggested; vanilla, black and blackberry bliss. I pulled out the friends are like seashell bundle and seashell embossing folder, it has been such a long time since I used this bundle.

I stamped the images in either black or blackberry bliss and colored them with blending brushes.

I used the brushes to also add black ink to the edges of the blackberry bliss paper. The greeting was die cut with the tasteful label dies and finished with a few artistry blooms sequins.

For the next card I used the plenty of pattern mask with blackberry bliss on vanilla cardstock. I did stamped and colored the shells the same as the other card. I also added a few highlights with the white chalk marker.
