Color Challenge 2.0

I am so glad that you are here today! If you saw my post yesterday, you already know what color combo I used for this card. If you missed yesterday's post check it out here so you can see the hand stamped sentiments color challenge for this week. When I originally white heat embossed the rays of light background stamp I decided to emboss a second. (if I have all the things out might as well) I used the color combo; coastal cabana, highland heather and orchid oasis.  After I spritzed the embossed image with water I began to apply my ink however, the coastal cabana and highland heather started to create a little muddy look than I wanted. So to minimize it I added a little clean water with my water painter and blotted it with a paper towel. This stopped the bleeding of colors. I waited for it to dry and was ok with the results. Let me know in the comments what you think.

The sentiment and shells are from the friends are like seashell stamp set, seaside seashell dies and the seashells 3D embossing folder.  (if you order all 3 you can pick a saleabration item for FREE) I white heat embossed the shells, die cut them and used the embossing folder to add texture. Check out the hand stamped sentiments challenge this week. As I said yesterday create what you like! Shells don't come in the colors I created but that is the beauty of being the artist, I can do what I like. Can't wait to see what you design!
