Have you tried Masking Paper yet? It is so fun to use and very easy. For today's card I wanted a row of poinsettia's and so I stamped the flowers from Rustic Crate Bundle on Masking Paper and cut it out with scissors, cutting right up to the edge of the black line. Then I stamped one of the poinsettia's on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Ink. Then removing the backing paper from the mask I just created I placed that directly on the flowers I just stamped. Then I stamped the second set of flowers, overlapping with the first set. Then remove the masking paper and you will have a row of flowers that does not overlap. You will notice from the picture that it looks like the flowers on the left are slightly behind the ones on the right. I then used the dies for a partial die cutting. To achieve this, place the die over the stamped image, however when you place the top cutting plate on top only place it on the part you would like to cut. The die will not cut through the paper if you do not have the cutting plate on top. Does that make sense?
I also used the Basic's Embossing Folder (from the Online Exclusives) and the greeting is from Wanted to Say Dies. If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you find time to either try masking on your cards or partial die cutting today! Let me know how it goes! Thanks for spending some of your day with me!
