TGIF challenge

Hello! My card today was inspired by the TGIF challenge and wow was it a challenge. I find that card challenges really make my creativity spark. This color challenge was way out of my comfort zone. Colors that I would never had put together and I found it so fun to give it a shot.

I started with celebrate sunflowers bundle and using gorgeous grape card stock white heat embossed the large sunflower. Using the dies in the bundle I die cut the flower, the leaves in just jade card stock and the outline of the flower in daffodil delight card stock. The background layer is pinewood planks 3D embossing folder, I have to say that I love this folder. One of my favorites!

The greeting was stamped in early espresso ink on basic white card stock that I fussy cut. I added a small bow behind to add a little more texture. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you give this challenge a try. You will be surprised at what you will come up with. Have a blessed day!

Check out the new mouthwatering paper pumpkin! You won't want to miss this!
