CAS(E) this sketch #364

Hi! Is everyone staying healthy? I sure hope so! Is anyone tired of being inside all day? What a crazy time we are all living through right now. I am taking advantage of all the amazing stamp challenges out there. CAS(E) this sketch is one of my favorite.

Isn't this a fun new sketch? Love it!  This is what I created with it.

I will find any excuse to play with the bonanza buddies stamp set. I am especially particle to this adorable koala. I gave him a little bundle of balloons to give the card a little more color.

I white embossed the sentiment from the so sentimental stamp set and the confetti as well. Then I ran the piece through my die machine with the subtle embossing folder.

I also added a little blush (stampin blends) to my koala's cheeks. If you are looking for inspiration check out the designers from the blog. Play along! Have a great day and stay healthy and creative. Thank you for joining me today!

Father's day

Hi my friends! So glad you are here! Today I wanted to play with the country club designer series paper. I love plaids and argyles, this paper does not disappoint. The colors are great for masculine cards. A nice Father's day card is what first came to mind. Since I did not have a stamp for Father's day I used my stash of paper pumpkin stamps.  These stamps come in handy when I need a greeting that I don't have. Most of the kits have a few different sayings, so it is a great variety.  I keep them stored in a few of the full wide stamp cases. I have them labels with holiday, birthday and thank you. That makes it much easier when trying to find a stamp.
The koala from the bonanza buddies stamp set is one of my favorite and so I thought he would be cute on the card and went well with the grey argyle paper.
Order your own paper pumpkin today and you will be so happy you did. It comes with all the supplies to make adorable cards, an ink spot and a cute stamp set.  The next kit promises cards for those you love. Check it out below. If you have any questions let me know and I would love to help you.
Have a great day and I hope you visit again soon. Remember sale a bration is wrapping up at the end of the month and so place your orders soon!

Birthday Toucan

Isn't this little toucan adorable stamped in bermuda bay? Kinda reminds me of the froot loop toucan. I had fun creating this monochromatic card.  Sometimes I struggle with trying to find just the right colors to create cards and so I find when I create a card with colors the same or similar it is one less then to think about.

The greeting looks so cute on the bermuda bay heat embossed in white and finished with the banner punch. I don't usually use bermuda bay and so this was a really fun card to create. It is such a good idea to try using colors that we don't usually use. Which color have you used lately that you tend to not use? Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really appreciate your support! Have a blessed day!

Puppy birthday

Welcome! Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for my grand-dog! She is a 2 year old Husky and the sweetest little dogs ever!

I used the bonanza buddies stamp set with the happy tails stamp set. They really look cute together! I also got the idea to make the happy birthday into a sign from another stamper on instagram. I am so sorry that I do not remember who originally posted this idea. I love it and I really want to give credit so if you have seen who had this idea let me know in the comments below!

These little gifts are such a cute image! I like the fact that the bows are a separate stamp and that the gifts can go both directions depending on which of the bows you use. Makes the stamps so much more versatile.
Thanks again for stopping by and checking out my blog.  Have a beautiful day!

Freshly made sketches challenge

I have really been into challenges lately. I know that when I look at a sketch, color or theme challenge that it really causes me to look outside of the box. I don't know about you but sometimes I feel like all my cards start to look alike. So this challenge was really fun. I would never have added a huge curved element. I have so many more ideas now of what to do with this sketch, you may see soon. Of course I had to use the bonanza buddies. Are you tired of seeing this set yet?

This card was so easy to create! After I stamped the images and either fussy cut or die cut the images my card was pretty much done. I did use the new white crinkled seam binding ribbon, but you may notice it is bermuda bay. I used a sponge dauber and colored the ribbon. Isn't that fun! Think of all the possibilities with that! Thank you for joining me today and I hope you give this challenge a try. Make sure to check out the freshly made sketches website, amazing projects from the design team! Have a great day!

GDP #223 Theme challenge

Fun challenge over at the global design project challenge for this week, a theme. This week it is celebration! This adorable little koala says celebrate to me. Matter of fact I think the whole bonanza birthday suite is a reason to celebrate.

I thought the paper from the tropical oasis dsp went with the koala. I know that they live in the trees and so I thought the woodland embossing folder would look great for the backdrop. When I stamped the koala this time I decided to give him a little more color in his ears and tummy with my stampin blends. Which sets do you like to use when making a card for a celebration?  Check out the challenge website and see all the wonderful ideas from the designers. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Walrus joins the bonanza buddies

Does this walrus just make you want to smile? It sure does me. So I thought why not combine him with the balloons, hat and sentiment from the bonanza buddies stamp set. I stamped all images with momento ink pad so that I could color them with my stampin blends.  I did a little watercolor wash on a piece of watercolor paper to help anchor my little guy. When it dried I added a few of the pompom stamp to the watercolor area just to give it a little more texture.

I fussy cut out the balloons and sentiment, added a few sequins to finish the card. Let me know which stamps set you like to combine. I think it is fun to put sets together and makes my product more versatile.

The paper pumpkin for Feb looks like it will be lovely! It will coordinate with the Happy Birthday to you stamp set from the saleabration catalog. Bonanza!

I can't stop creating cards with this stamp set! These little critters are so addicting. Aren't they just the cutest!  The dies that cut all the images out makes it even more fun, saves me from fussy cutting which I am not too good at.

I used the colors that are in the designer series paper, made it easy to find a combo that works. I used the circle stencil with a sponge dauber.  Thank you for visiting my site. If you have any questions or would like to order this fabulous bundle let me know. I would love to help you, if you do not have a demonstrator. Have a wonderful day and come back soon!
