Coffee Time

My final card inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge (original post here) is using the Latte Love Bundle. I used the dies to cut out the A Little Latte DSP coffee cups. For the piece behind the cups I used a Water Painter and ink pads to create soft leaf shapes on Fluid Watercolor Paper. They didn't turn out the best, (more practice needed) but luckily you can't see much of them behind the sentiment that I created with the "hello" from the Rustic Crate Dies and the "fall" from Alpha A La Mode Dies. I adhered it all to a piece of Country Woods DSP.
That ends all the cards I created for this challenge. I am so excited to see what you created! Thanks for stopping by!

Hand Stamped Sentiment Second Idea

Hi! I love the colors for fall and couldn't resist creating this card inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. If you missed my original post check it out here. For this card I did more ink smooshing. I have to say it might be one of my favorite techniques. For the leaves I started with  smooshing my ink pads on Silicone Craft Sheet and spritzed with water, then placed Fluid Watercolor Paper onto the craft sheet. I let it dry completely and then smooshed it again. Let that dry and then flicked on Early Espresso Ink and clean water. I used the Autumn Leaves Dies to cut the leaves.
For the background I used another piece of Fluid Watercolor Paper and spritzed it with clean water then I used a Water Painter to apply Blackberry Bliss and Calypso Coral Ink letting it drip down the paper. After that dried I again flicked clean water and more of the 2 inks that were left over.
The sentiment is from the Wanted To Say Dies and a finished it off with a few Faux Glass Dots.
Tomorrow I have one more card to share that I just had to create! I hope this inspires you to create and join the fun over at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #447

Inspiration Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week! I really liked the mountain scene and so I created my own with the Forever Forest Dies. I smooshed ink from my ink pads onto the Silicone Craft Sheet, spritzed it with water and took a few pieces of Fluid Watercolor Paper and smooshed it onto the ink. I let it dry completely and then used the dies to cut. After I die cut the mountains I smooshed them again for a little bolder color.
For the background I used a Blending Brush and applied a light amount of Balmy Blue Ink making sure not to make it to even, almost blotchy like the sky would be. I stamped the sentiment from the Courage & Faith Stamp Set with StazOn Black Ink.

Check back tomorrow for another card that I was inspired to create from these pictures. Have a great day and I hope you will join the fun and create today!

Balmy Blue Baby

Hello! Today I created a card with the Cutest Onesie Bundle, a great deal at only $27 US for the stamp set and dies! For my card I stamped the onesie on Fluid Watercolor Paper with Versamark Ink and then heated Black Embossing Powder until melted. Then I stamped the star in the middle with Versamark Ink and Clear Embossed . I used a Water Painter and Balmy Blue Ink Refill to watercolor the image. After it dried completely, I used the coordinating dies to cut out. I used 2 more pieces of Fluid Watercolor Paper for the layers under the onesie. For the bottom one I used the large flat Water Painter and created stripes and them flicked on clean water and Black Stampin' Write Marker. I set that aside to dry. Then with the other piece of watercolor paper I applied a light wash of Balmy Blue Ink with the Water Painter. When that dried, I used the Fluffiest Friends arch Die to cut out.

To assemble the card I used a piece of Azure Afternoon Cardstock for the bottom layer and then adhered everything on top. The sentiment was White Heat Embossed (you get all 3 embossing powders when you order- clear, white and black) on Basic Black Cardstock and I finished it off with a few Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Using all of the scraps

Do you see it? The inside piece that I die cut out from yesterday's card? When I watercolored the paper from the card yesterday I was left with this beautiful piece, so I created a card with it. The frame die is from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies and the sentiment is from the Winterly Tree Top Stamp Set (bundle and save 10%). I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on Basic Black Cardstock and used the 1-3/4" punch to cut out. I also used the bow die to create an ornament looking piece. I used a few Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish off the card. So don't throw away pieces that you could create a card with, challenge yourself to do something with it! Have a great day!

Winterly Tree Tops

Are you tired of seeing ideas with the new Winterly Tree Tops Bundle? Today I die cut the frame with Fluid Watercolor Paper and then took out middle piece. I placed that on another piece of watercolor paper and then used a Water Painter and applied Lost Lagoon Ink to the edges of the frame. After it dried completely, I remove the center piece and I was left with this beautiful watercolor frame. (don't worry I will use the middle piece for another card!)I love how it turned out. I spritzed it with more Lost Lagoon Ink and clean water. I stamped the bird with Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. I used the dies to cut out and stamped the sentiment and used the 1-3/4" and 2" punches.
Stop by tomorrow to see the other half of the watercolor background! Have a great day!
