Global Design Project Challenge 236

Hello! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all staying healthy and getting use to the new normal, at least for right now.  I made a card for the global design project challenge. I stayed pretty true to the designers original card.
The product I used were:
Stamps: floral essence
Ink and card stock: shimmery white, calypso coral, balmy blue, old olive, daffodil delight
Dies: stitched nested labels
Other accessories: scripty 3D embossing folder, watercolor pencils, rhinestone jewels, aquapainter, stampin blends

I stamped the flowers and then added a little more dimension with blends and water color pencils. Thank you so much for stopping by. Go to the GDP website and check out the fun cards that the designers created and join in on the fun! Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Sunday stampers #226

Isn't this a fun sketch? I really like a new idea for a card because I feel like I tend to always go for the same or similar design. What about you? Check out the Sunday stampers blog, the designers really did a beautiful job with this sketch.  Lately I have been using a lot more of flirty flamingo. It is not a super bright color but also not as soft as blushing bride.

To get the scripty embossing folder to really pop I swiped my white ink pad across it a few times. I really love this soft look. The stamp set I used was floral essence and I colored it with my stampin blends. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I really appreciate your feedback and hope you come back real soon. Stay healthy and keep coloring!
Don't forget sale a bration is only till the end of March. You don't want to miss out. Also, don't forget about the coordination products below. They have some really great dies.

CAS(E) this sketch challenge

First I apologize for the way my card is not cropped. I really need to work on taking better pictures of my cards. Hopefully I will find the time to do that. But I know I would rather stamp then learn how to take better photos. Anyway, thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I think this sketch is really fun! I decided to turn the sketch on it's side because I had these scraps on my desk and thought I could maybe make them work. Since they were scraps I ended up using many things from different stamp sets and dies.

I added some wink of stella to the flowers and so in person they have a beautiful sparkle to them. Pretty sure I add wink of stella to 99% of my projects. I can't live without a little sparkle to my cards. Thank you for stopping by and make sure to check out the fabulous cards that the designers at CAS(E) this sketch created! Have a great day and enjoy!

Just add ink challenge #482

I know with the Christmas season quickly approaching that I will have to put away my fall colors, so I am taking advantage of every last minute to play with them. For today I played along with the Just Add Ink challenge! I added a lot of elements to this card, but I just couldn't help myself.

Typically I like to keep my cards pretty simple and clean, yet this card just keep evolving! I stamped the flowers from the floral essence stamp set and used watercolored pencils ( without water) to add a little shading. I love how Kathy Racoosin from the daily marker challenge uses pencils to enhance her stamped images. (Her work is amazing!) Check her out here https://www.thedailymarker.com/

The greeting is from the free as a bird stamp set and I think it is such a beautiful thing to say to so many people in my life. I used some of the leaves from the gather together bundle and shimmery crystal effects for the center of the flowers, however it really I did not take a good photo to show it. Don't miss out on the sale going on right now with Stampin' Up and if you do not have a demonstrator I would love to help you. Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Fab Friday #171 Sketch

Fab Friday has a great classic sketch for this weeks challenge and I love the designers take on it.  It is amazing how everyone sees something different when they look at a sketch. I knew when I saw it that I wanted to use one of the layers with the long flower die from the wild rose dies.

I also couldn't help using a piece of the bird ballad dsp, my favorite dsp right now. But we will see if that changes when my holiday catalog order arrives. I am so excited to see all the fun new papers I ordered. If you have not received a holiday catalog let me know and I will send you one! You will love all the fabulous items!

Give this fun sketch a try over at the fab Friday site today! Enjoy and have a beautiful weekend! Thank you for visiting my blog and come back soon!

Shaker card

Recently the TGIF website had a shaker card challenge, although I did miss the deadline I made the card anyway.  It has been a long time since I made a shaker card and I was up for the challenge. I CAS(E) my card from the Christmas card  (paper pumpkin) a few years ago. I really liked the layout and so it made the job of what to create so much easier.

The floral essence set has stamp that I am pretty sure is suppose to be a stem, well in my card I used it as a stem.  I think it really gives the flower a different look than just using the flower bud by itself.

I am really loving these sequins from the annual catalog and have almost used up the whole container already! They have been really going nicely with all the cards that I have been making lately and they really come alive with the cards and gifts I have made. I used the new stitched nested frame dies for the shaker part, also slightly obsessed with this set of dies! Take time to make a shaker card of your own. Have a great day! Enjoy!
