When you don't feel like coloring?

Today's card is a quick and easy card to create when you don't have the time or feel like coloring. I used the colors from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. I White Heat Embossed the flowers from the Rustic Crate Stamps on Peach Pie Cardstock and then used the Rustic Crate Dies to cut out. I also White Heat Embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder on Pecan Pie Cardstock and gently rubbed the White Ink Pad across the embossed area. The Basic White Cardstock is embossed with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. I finished the card off with a Linen Thread bow behind the sentiment and a few Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
This is the last card I created with this color combo, I hope it has inspired you to join the fun!

Pies In Colors

Hello, back again with another fun "pie" inspired cards. In case you missed it all the colors for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge this week are "pie" colors. Fun, right? I did a little watercoloring today with Water Painters, ink refills and Fluid Watercolor Paper. I stamped the Bird's Eye View Stamps with Staz On Black Ink, watercolored and fussy cut them out. The background is Pecan Pie Cardstock White Heat Embossed with the Textured Timber Stamp Set. I used a few scraps of cardstock to create the stripes of color behind the greeting and bird. The sentiment is from the Courage & Faith Stamp Set and die cut with the Unbounded Love Dies. I did have to partially die cut the sentiment and then move the die and die cut the rest to make the die cut fit the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by! I have one more idea tomorrow and I hope you check it out! Have a blessed day!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #448

Fall is finally here in Southern California and time for a fun fall inspired Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge! Did you notice they are all "pies"? Is anyone else hungry for pie now? I began this card with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder with Peach Pie Cardstock. I swiped the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad over the raised leaves and then ran it through the Stampin' Emboss Machine. Then I flicked Basic White Ink and Pecan Pie Ink with a Water Painter on the embossed piece. I also flicked those inks onto Peach Pie and Pecan Pie Cardstock and used the Autumn Leaves Dies to die cut leaves. For the leaf on the bottom, I had some scraps from another project that was ink smooshed with Pumpkin Pie Ink and I also flicked the inks onto this also.

For the greeting I used the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set and the  Autumn Leaves Dies. I finished it off with a few Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope this inspires you so create!

Hello Friend

I have been loving Winterly Tree Tops Bundle! I am sure you can tell. For today's card I really had a hard time photographing it. The colors in person are so rich and gorgeous however the photo not so much. I die cut the frame piece a few weeks ago after using a Blending Brush and Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then I flicked clean water and and let dry. I also used the Gold Foil Die scraps from the card a few weeks ago and adhered that to the back. I offset them so that they did not match up and the gold leaves would show through. I Gold Heat Embossed the birds on Fluid Watercolor Paper and used a Water Painter and Inks to watercolor. I used the coordinating dies to cut out. The sentiment is from Country Birdhouse Bundle. Also I used a Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend to color the white edges of the die around the bird so that they would blend into the background.
Thanks for stopping by. Check out the other card that used the pieces from this card here.

Coffee Time

My final card inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge (original post here) is using the Latte Love Bundle. I used the dies to cut out the A Little Latte DSP coffee cups. For the piece behind the cups I used a Water Painter and ink pads to create soft leaf shapes on Fluid Watercolor Paper. They didn't turn out the best, (more practice needed) but luckily you can't see much of them behind the sentiment that I created with the "hello" from the Rustic Crate Dies and the "fall" from Alpha A La Mode Dies. I adhered it all to a piece of Country Woods DSP.
That ends all the cards I created for this challenge. I am so excited to see what you created! Thanks for stopping by!
